The William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship
The William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship gives out one scholarship award per year. It is open to any high school senior with an interest in amateur radio and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.

Applicants must have a valid ham radio license. They may major in computer science, business, engineering, marketing, nursing, science, or education. The recipient is chosen based upon qualifications and financial need.


The scholarship is
sponsored by the  the National Association for Amateur Radio (ARRL). Applicants must maintain a B grade average; scholarship is awarded only for undergraduate degrees. Students applying may be from any region of the country.

In addition to the William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship, ARRL sponsors more than 80 scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 every year through the ARRL Foundation Scholarship program.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
